1. Organization & Scope of License

Tenant Toolkit is operated by Storrs Magic, Inc., a Connecticut non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to justice and tenant advocacy. Storrs Magic, Inc. grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Application on any Apple or Android devices that you own or control, as permitted by the applicable App Store or Google Play Store Terms of Service.

2. Informational & Self-Help Notice

Tenant Toolkit provides self-help organization tools, preparation worksheets, source links, and templates for renters. Automated extraction, issue spotting, translations, and generated content can be incomplete or wrong and must be reviewed before use. A preparation worksheet is not an official court form or a substitute for one. Tenant Toolkit does not provide individualized legal representation, calculate or certify legal deadlines, and using the app does not create an attorney-client relationship. Tenants facing eviction or complex legal disputes should promptly contact the court clerk, local legal aid, or a qualified attorney.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Tenant Toolkit offers free core functionality with local-only device storage. An optional auto-renewable Pro subscription is available for cross-device sync, opt-in cloud backup, household sharing, and priority issue support. Cloud access uses authenticated account and household-membership controls; see the Privacy Policy for the limits of those protections.

• Subscription Plans: Monthly or Annual auto-renewable subscriptions.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the renewal date shown by the store. The store purchase sheet and subscription settings display the controlling localized price, billing period, trial eligibility, renewal date, and cancellation terms.
• Management & Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store Account Settings or Google Play Subscriptions after purchase.

4. Privacy & Data Ownership

Your records, leases, photos, and notes are stored locally on your device by default. If you opt into cloud backup or household sharing, supported content is uploaded and current household members may be able to access shared records. For details, please review our Privacy Policy.
